I have just read most of your writtings on Dan 9. Being of Southern Baptist background this really was different, although I found your teaching made a great bit of sense. What does an Amill. believe about the rapture of the church? From what I have read it is that you believe that Israel and the church are the same. I would like to know what your doctrine of salvtion is and if the rapture isn't a part of your techings of prophecy what is our blessed hope in 1 Thess 4? I appreciate your studies. Karen

          Mr. Warren,

I am currently studying the eschatology on your website. I find it very enlightening. I am also looking for a church in my area that has the same beliefs. If you know of one please let me know. I live in Texas. Or the Heart of Texas area. Thank-you for a fine website. Jesus is Lord.

Ken

Dear Mr. Warren I would like to thank you for the article you published on Amillenialism. I am the pastor of a United Baptist church in Dayton Oh and I have long held the Amillenial view of scripture. It was with great joy I found your article as there is not much being printed or writen on the internet about this belief. I have run several copies of your article off to share with friends and brethern in Christ. I just felt it necessary to write you and thank you for your stand on the word of God. Thank you again and may God bless you in your writing of the truth.

Yours in Christ, Elder Mike Ramse

I have just found this site and I am really very pleased by it. I especially love the theology forum. My only personal objection is the strong emphasis on "reformed" theology. I would grant that by "reformed" we are striving for correct understanding of biblical doctrine and interpretation, but that the emphasis has ALWAYS been on "correct" doctrine and interpretation. I can understand a personal affection for the historcal movement known as the reformation (the doctrines and the revolution of christian thinking) for I have my own personal love for the work that was performed in those days. Yet, this same period has its distinction in the context of history and not in the context of christianity. At its best, reformed can only mean correct doctrine, and that is only at its best. This period does not itself take precedence over what is the truly authoritative Word of God. It is what the believers have always strived for from the beginning until there will be no more believers, and then, where is the reform going to be? One can describe a doctrine as reformed, but one must always strive to be correct and accurate, and faithful to the Word of God. I hope you understand my objection and do not take it as an objection to your actual work.

Thanks,
Steven

    Dear Mr Warren,
THANKYOU
Thankyou for your web-site "The Mountain Retreat". I am a high school teacher in Sydney, Australia. I am employed by several local churches to work in our local public high school, teaching Christian Studies. I am currently preparing a unit of work on eschatology. I have just discovered your web-site, and I find the material thoroughly excellent. Please convey my sincere thanks to any others who have worked with you on providing this marvellous resource.
Again, thankyou for your excellent work.

    Sir,
Must you imply the Roman catolic religion a false gospel? Don't we worship the same god and read the same bible? Just because you are of another denomination doesn't mean we aren't of the same faith. We are all in the same boat, we both are preaching the gospel. Then neither is wrong. I do appreciate one who is not politically correct, but tells it like the bible says it, but remember what church is in the forefront of being anti abortion and missions work. We do good also.

    Greetings in the Lord.

I have been reading Tony Warren's "Amillennialism: A Word Direct From The Scriptures," at http://members.aol.com/twarren13/amillennial.html and "The Israel of God!" at http://members.aol.com/twarren11/israel.html . Thank you for the work in preparing this thoughtful material for the Internet.

I am an "Eastern" Orthodox Christian and have often been hampered in my efforts to explain to my "Evangelical" Protestant friends how erroneous are what I call their "Hal Lindsey" delusions. Coming from an Orthodox Church perspective I am sometimes dismissed as having "views like Roman Catholics" (which is actually somewhat of an insult to an Orthodox Christian). Because your material is well-grounded in the Protestant Reformation I hope it will be more palatable to my misguided Protestant friends. In addition, your material was very helpful in explaining the history of some of the more peculiar yet widely held Protestant beliefs.

With the love of Christ,
Thomas J. Wiswell

    Grace and peace!

I am a Roman Catholic who happened upon your site. I was looking for a good bible study, and must say, I have thoroughly enjoyed the studies you present. I am in a time of searching and questioning. I have taken a step back to look at both sides (Catholicism and Reformed Christianity) with an open mind. I have attended a Reformed church the past couple Sundays and have enjoyed my experience there as well.

However, I need to offer just a bit of constructive criticism. Although, as I have said, I am enjoying and learning from your studies, I believe the way you present them could be modified for the better. I find you use the (!) ALOT. I know that you probably use it to drive home a point, but it can also be a turnoff to the reader. A calm, reasoned approach to instuction, I believe, would help make your points better then an overuse of the (!).

Thats all. God bless and keep up the good work.

In Christ,

Steven Barron

    Dear brother Warren,

I truly appreciate your site. I am a Reformed believer. I agree with so many of your pages. And I am thankful for your the availability of all of the publications on your web site. I appreciate believers who take a firm stand and who explain their biblical views with prooftext and clarity.

In Christ's love,
Arrie
