    Greetings,

I really enjoy your articles on the Kingdom and the millenium, and how 'scripture interprets scripture' i.e. stay in the bible.
You really get me thinking about things.

My background was in a pentecostal church.
A couple of years ago I began reading up on 'reformed' teachings of the scriptures and have not looked back.

Now I attend a westminster presbyterian church.

Thank you so much for putting up this website.

Tony Warren By the Faith of Christ, or our faith in Christ? In a matter of opinion, I strongly disagree with the statement stating that we should put our faith of Christ. The bible is pretty clear that we have to go through Jesus Christ our savior in order to be saved and to be part of the great inheritance to God’s Kingdom. If you have faith of Christ, provides the impression that you can mimic Christ faith on your own and don’t need to put any faith into him, which blots him out. It’s devaluing his great purpose for us and takes glory for him to work through us. However, If you put your faith in Christ our savior, meaning trust him fully by faith, then he will graciously give his faith to us in return, it gives him glory and he is able to do what he wills by our faith through our patience, therefore we will have the faith of Christ and inherited the great blessing god has to offer, but we can’t get them acting alone, we need Christ, we need to put our faith in him!

I want to thank you for this posting of the meaning of Selah. As an African American this name has special meaning to my family and me; it is the name of the earliest ancestor that we can identify born a slave in the late 1700's early 1800's...paternal my grandmother six times removed. I have always wanted to know its meaning. Thank you for this information.

I have read through quite a few of your bible studies and I am very impressed. Very few congregations hold to the doctrine of sanctity of marriage and to other profound beliefs that the bible clearly explains. There were a couple questions I had concerning how The Mountain Retreat views adornment and the works of grace, which I did not see details regarding. I would appreciate correspondence and I am looking forward to hearing from someone. Any time a group is found who holds to bible standards (even the stricter ones) it is a blessing! :)

    Greetings Tony,

I am so tired of life's problems and pressure points that sometimes I just want to give up. However, I know that this is rebellion against God. I just completed reading your 1999 article on "What About Christians and the Sin of Suicide?". It poignantly uses the Bible to substantiate the premise that suicide is not an option for the true believer. Just think of it - You wrote it 10 years ago but it reaches forth a decade later with the power of God to an unhappy believer who is really just feeling sorry for himself. The scriptural references and your dissertation has given me hope to not give up. Although life is difficult and I am not sure how to manage my personal problems, I will keep my eyes on Jesus. I can make it one more day for Him.

Thank you so much and keep blessing the Body of Christ with your gifts!

Jerry

    Mr. Warren,

Your article titled, What is the Age of the World? really shook me up! It's dated 1996 and I am wondering, would you stick by the dates you provided, particularly 7BC as the year Jesus was born? I ask because if Jesus started His ministry at about 30, using 7BC as His birthdate would make Him 35 or 36 years old when he started.

I retired 2 years ago and now take advantage of my free time for surfing the web for Bible study resources, information and edification. I read and consider the opinions of many theologians, but unfortunately I sometimes feel they are more influenced by church tradition rather than a studied consideration of scripture. That is why I was pleasantly surprised by your resource. I hope the Mountain Retreat will prosper and many will be blessed by your sincere and God blessed study habits. Thanks for your ministry!

Your resources are the most helpfull I have found anywhere in defending biblical truth against pre-mil error. Among the evangelicals that I have close associations, dozens of congregations in Southern California, I am definately in the minority veiw and have had some heated discussions with friends and family. Thanks for equipping me with the fantastic resources online. You have energized my walk as a Christian looking forward to the glorious return of our Lord Jesus! God Bless You All.

i made a mistake when i mentioned PREDESTINATION instead of PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS< although the two are related.

my apologies...

Tony, do you have any suggestions about healthy churches here in Chicago - i am being called out of my own. let me know if you can , please know as well that i wrote you a heart felt e-mail on my present lack of reformed true fellowship and teaching. i do understand that i am using a free e-mail account. my e-mail was not of risk, but i am guessing you do not open these types. this is my second attempt at appeal.

I was very saddened to read your article on eunuchs. How can you think yourself an author and not understand that eunuchs are gay individuals? I would suggest that you educate yourself before preaching such nonsense. Eunuchs are still being drawn to Christianity, and I am so glad that they are despite sites like yours that posts inaccurate information.
