I'm disappointed to read your writing on todays prophets. from your writing you do not believe that God still speaks to his children, that we do not hear him speaking to us, leading us, calling us to ministry.
God still speaks to his believers, not the unbelievers. there are prophets today speaking Gods word, not what they've memorised from the Holy Bible, but speaking the words God has given them

Some of your Feast of Tabernacles article was convincing but when you get to the Last Great Day being the 8th day, in my opinion, you are totally off base. The day Christ was talking about was the 7th day of the FOT. The eighth day is a totally different feast. I can only assume you get the Last Great Day from the WCG but it was never called that in the bible. It is Shimini Atzeret.

Also, I can find no basis for Sunday being the new Sabbath. The Sabbath has been the 7th day of the week since the beginning.

Some friends and I have bible studies on the true Sabbath and I will offer your article as a study this week. Should make for interesting conversation. I find some things thought provoking and plan to thoroughly check into the complete article.

Thank you for taking the time to post your opinion.

I didn't know much about the Reformed view of Christianity and the concept of biblical theology vs. modernist theology until recently, and now I cannot get enough of reading all these great articles. I can see how far theology has slid over the last few years. Now I know the difference between christian articles and biblical christian articles.

Thanks for your wonderful site resources and informative search.

Please keep up the good work.
Rose

In the Gospel of Matthew there are three aspects of the Kingdom of the Heavens.

1) Chapters 5-7 concern the reality of the kingdom which is established within the spirit of all believers as a result of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. When believers walk according to their regenerated spirit (John 3:3,5,6; 4:24) they are right now in the reality of the Kingdom of the Heavens

2) Chapter 13 is concerning the mere appearance of the Kingdom as is seen in degraded Christiandom
and indicated by the evil birds leaven and tares and the great tree.

3)Chapter 24 shows the manifestation of the Kingdom when Christ shall appear and establish His earthly Kingdom through Isreal over the whole earth and in which the overcoming believers will be manifested as Christ's co-kings to reign on the earth. After this period of time will come the eternal new heaven and new earth

I have read your discussion of the abomination of desolation, as well as others on the net. I am thinking that this week's validation of the homosexual bishop in the church may be that which Jesus spoke about. It appears to fit all the criteria. May we be watching and understand as Christ instructed. And let us cling more closely to him, filling our lamps with oil, knowing that our redemption is drawing nigh.

    Tony,

Our whole family has so enjoyed your site and the bible studies so grounded in God's Word. I was searching the web for information about the twelve tribes of Israel, and your article on the "Lost tribes of Israel" came up. What a breath of fresh air it was, so straight forward and easy to understand. Since then we have continued to study and have now been studying the literature in the eschatology section.

It's all been a eye opener, and we just wanted to say thank you for your diligent study and ministry to others who by God's grace seek the truth. I don't think that I have to tell you that in this day and age, the truth is hard to comne by.

    Tony,
Back when you were on the boards around me and others, I didn't read about 90% of what you wrote, all I knew was that your interpretations did not agree with mine. I think the Lord has finally showed me! I have been diligently trying to rightly divide the Word, and let scripture interpret scripture.

Finally this week, I got stuck on Dan 9:26 & 27 that final week, I just could not find it "matched up" with any other scriptures pertaining to it. oh there is so much I want to say to you! Everything you had posted about the Church being the Temple not being rebuilt is true. I just first wanted to APOLOGIZE to you and ask for your forgiveness for having an attitude against you. It is nice to know that we can not know something, and the Lord change us overnight to see the truth.

God Bless.

This is without a doubt one of the best bible studies that I have ever read on this chapter. So well written, biblically justified, and illustrated in plain english rather than words I have to get a dictionary to understand. May God bless this website as it is a great teaching tool I will recommend to my friends.

While you don't overtly bash the catholic religion as some others do, I do find it distressing that you write an article claiming that Mary had other children, and that there is no evidence that she didn't. Have you forgotten that Mary was sinless? That she was a perpetual virgin? That she had the immaculate conception? This is a nice site, but try and not deny Catholic doctrines because that's like an attack. That article was uncalled for in an otherwise good site.
