Nice site but dated. Good content but you need to move up to the 20th century.

A friend gave me the link to your eschatology page in 2019 and I saw a very different perspective of the Bible than I had been taught the last 10 years. It was a great blessing. I just wanted to sign your guestbook and thank God who has used this ministry to correct a lot of bad theology I had been taught concerning Israel, the end times, and the nature of the gospel.

I am so delighted at the wealth of great content you have amassed here. I’ve been reading now for many months and outside of the Bible itself, this is the best blessings I have received online and hopefully to many others. I just love reading reformed sermons and articles by Horton, Engelsma, Hoekema, and a host of other great orators. May God richly bless you

    Tony Warren,
Homosexuality is not a sin, it is a misunderstanding by so many ignorant reformed theologians like yourself. You guy6s are so busy telling us about God's condemnation about homosexuals, when these views of literalists lead parents to banish children from their homes, sets neighbor against neighbor, and engenders hate and condemnation.

"The Bible is not the book many American fundamentalists and political opportunists think it is, or more precisely, what they want it to be. Their lack of knowledge about the Bible is well established. A Pew Research poll in 2010 found that evangelicals ranked only a smidgen higher than atheists in familiarity with the New Testament and Jesus's teachings." -Kurt Eichenwald

When the Bible was written, the Hebrew culture basically ignored the concept of a loving, committed, adult, homosexual relationship. One author, James Brownson, has pointed out that the Bible is essentially silent in addressing the contemporary experience of a consensual, same-sex relationship. (Brownson, pg. 41). So stop putting your own bias on good people who think differently from the reformed, and choose to live different lifestyles.

Comments:
Reformed laws about divorce are medieval, cruel and legalistic. The Bible absolutely allows for divorce for verbal abuse and even for failure to provide for a woman's needs. I recently read a book that explains in detail the scriptural grounds for separation and divorce for at least 19 different reasons. And honestly, we should all know just by common sense that a loving God doesn't want victims of abuse, whether verbal, neglectful, or physical, to remain in that relationship. And if divorce is permissible for these things, then remarriage is also permissible for a divorced Christian. I don't like the way you tell Christians that marriage is for life. That kind of rhetoric leads so many women to remain in hurtful marriages when they should get out of them and be happy. You should examine the issue with a little compassion and scholarly research before you have a woman chained to an unloving husband for life. Disciplinary divorce is permitted by the Bible. This also applies in cases of abandonment, child support, abuse, fornication, mental aggravation, and adultery. Treacherous divorce or divorce just because you want another spouse is the only divorce condemned by the Bible.

I would love to tell you all that I am blessed by the hard work that I know you have put into managing this website. It is really amazing to find old school sound biblical theology sites in 2019. It seems they've all passed the way of the dinosaur. Your articles on the institution of marriage, the rise of immodesty and the book of Revelation just warmed my heart. This site has earned my support and I thank God for it.

I thought this was a nice buiblical site until I read your stance on divorce and free will. First of all free will is a given. If we didn't have free will we couldn't choose right and wrong. Second, if there isn't divorce, Christians would be stuck with unbelievers the rest of their lives. YTou think That's a good thing? Please reexamine your doctrimnes because I believe they leave something to be desired.

I was searching for Reformed forums and I found out about your web site. Just a few lines to say that it is very good to know that the LORD is blessing your ministry. It's so hard to find biblical eschatology these days with all the nonsense preached by televangelists. So refreshing to read eschatology that makes sense. God is good.
