If Reformed theology is the most accurate, correct expression of what the Scripture teaches, then why are the Reformed churches so few? That doesn't make sense. Few in both a percentage of Protestants and in worldwide Christians. If what your bible teaches and the theological system you use were really of God, it would win out and not be one of the least. Since it doesn't win out, what does that say about its validity? Those are my thoughts.

I was very surprised at finding this site. Because there are very few old school Christian resources where people can actually find a library of good, sound, informational, conservative writings that don't water down the gospel truth. I have downloaded the great article on the Apocryphal Books which I have been searching the web to find good historical information on. I was always curious to find out why they were left out of the final Holy Bible that we Protestants use today. Well done. God bless your ministry.
In addition I just want to say there are an abundance of blogs, many different religious churches, and repositories of old literature, but it is very rare to find such a massive collection of good bible-based articles, literature, sermons, eschatology, theology, apologetics, and even Bile discussions all in one place. Exegesis by new authors and authors of the old classics, David J. Engelsma, John Calvin, and everything in between. Very helpful and I just wanted to sign your guest book to let you know this is all appreciated. You really should get this place better known. Is there anything that I can do? God has blessed your ministry.

Reformed theology at its core is biblical theoogy. Scripture alone. Prayers for continued faithfulness, perseverance, and peace to the Mountain Retreat family.

Tony, I am new to your site but have found your articles and bible studies are always very well researched. I have found them to be refreshing, thought-provoking, and very encouraging. I grew up reading and listening to Michael Horton and have been blessed by his ministry also. I want to thank the Lord for ministering to you such a Godly web site resource. I'm sure you know that they are really hard to find these days. May God continue to use you for His Glory Keep up the great work.

I studies under Orval Heath and wanted to re-read his view of eschatology Amillennialism, since Orval has retired and I wanted to share the view I grew to understand as the most solid.
Orval always said if you come to Mena and say you know Orval Heath; be ready to duck or get kissed, for his views are not widely accpeted on eschatology.

I read an elaborate article someone here wrote on the word "Selah"; (I read it elsewhere online.) Didn't it ever occur to the writer to just check the Peoples Bible the Apostles gave the Church which the Orthodox have been using without interruption to find out what "Selah" means? It simply means "musical interlude" (definition from "A Greek-English Lexicon Of The Septuagint by T. Muraoka).
If you all aren't using an English translation of the Greek Old Testament/the Septuagint, you are are reading a falsified and mutilated Hebrew text named "Masoretic." And if you are reading the NETS Septuagint you are still reading the Masoretic Text disguised as the Septuagint: the translators admit they based the NETS on the NRSV!

Greetings brothers and sisters. I am blessed to know that whatever knowledge and happiness we may acquire in this life is given that we might become leaders. It is the wise servant of God who uses that knowledge not only with humility, but also with compassion, charity, and love. I believe we have that here. I have seen many who don't and they become no better than those without it. God bless you all.
