Do not trouble yourselves,the problem was with my computer.It is now fixed.

Thanks Andreas.... I was having this same problem, but afer your post I checked my own computer's setup as follows, and was able to increase the text size....

         Click on 'View' --> select 'Text Sixe' --> select desired size (e.g. 'Largest').

I believe that if you click anywhere within the text and then hold down the control key and roll the mouse ball, you will get a very nice results.
This little trick also works on most websites and with Word.

That was a cool trick. Now the trick is to get it back to the regular size
