If God created all things and called them good, how is it that the church could fall into apostasy?

The two things have nothing to do with each other. Good things can go bad, as the example of Adam and Eve demonstrates. Once they fell into sin they went from good to bad. From no sin to sin.

So many people believe and listen to crazy preachers because their mind is warped by the idolatry of the false prophet. That's an example of the apostasy that has overcome Christinas. At least the kind that makes their own reasoning their god.

Exactly, looking for justification of their beliefs and not the Truth so God seared their consciences because they had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1 Tim 4:1,2
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
Proverbs 30:5,6
