Since 1998 the Mountain Retreat has been a repository and resource site in the Reformed tradition of the doctrines of Grace, developed with the intention of housing studies that emphasize sound Biblical Theology and exegesis of the scriptures. This center has but one primary purpose, and that is to faithfully carry the gospel message of Christ to a world that is desperately in need of unadulterated truth. Though somewhat traditional, we are committed to historic "Biblical Christianity," that is to say, rooted in the scriptures rather than customs, rituals or tradition. We stand united as one family whose sole desire is to do the will of God, and do it decently and in order. Biblical Theology and Eschatology is anchored in the proposition that scripture is the ultimate authority to "rightly" discern the word of God. As long as this center is in existence, if only one sinner is led to the truth, then our purpose has been served.
