I am writing with a heartfelt "Thank You!" I recently visited your Church site and I must say that it was really a privilege for me to read the things I found there. You obviously hold yourself to a higher standard than most Christian blogs and Church sites. Your stance against worldliness is so rare and overdue.

Thank you for the awesome and precious work of Lord Jesus Christ that you do.

    Blessed Webmaster,
I give God the glory for you and this ministry. I have not seen one like it in my travels. The fact that you allow anyone to copy and post your articles shows you are a man of true value and not the usual money grabbers. I am posting your articles to our bible study class for bible reading and discussion. All glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Homosexuality is only called an abomination by Leviticus and Paul (who hated women anyway). It's utter rot and nasty to a whole bunch of good people.

When I read that you said that Christians who say that they are also non practicing homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of God, I almost fell out of my mind. Lets make some things perfecly clear. First; Christ blood covers up our sins when we believe that he is Lord and son of God. Second; the Bible does not state what sins are any worse than the other because sin is the sepperation from God and man. So to say that homosexuality is any less or great a sin as say shop lifting is wrong. You seem to have forgotten about Jesus' grace to people that strugle with "sin" or imperfections in their lives. Do you realy think that if a person who is a homosexual gives their life to Jesus is all of a suden not going to have yearnings for the same sex. Sure they will. Just like an alcoholic will always have yearnings to drink even if they don't drink. I find it quite madening to hear people talk about what God will do to man kind by way of their salvation when it comes to this matter.

Hello. I am providing feedback with respect. You refer to the the Catholic faith being Roman Catholic, Rome, etc. They are Western Catholic and there is Eastern Catholic which is out of Constanople. Western Catholics also believe they are the only Catholic faith. I wanted to just provide a little bit of information as you discuss the translation of the word Catholic. Again, this is with respect. So many times, we Eastern Catholics,Byzantine Catholic for me, are overlooked. Thank you for listening.
May God grant you many happy, healthy and blessed years.

I stumbled upon your site looking for insight into the "Crowns" and
the rewards in heaven issue. Your paper on the topic was superb. You
seemed to leave no stone unturned and provided very thoughtful
commentary on the scriptural references. I expect to be a frequent
visitor!

I agree that the partial hardening of vs 25 refers to some of the still unbelieving part of first century national Israel. But I think 'this mystery' that he describes in vs 25 refers to Israel being made jealous by the filling of the Spirit of God within the individuals of the nations. This 'jealousy factor' was mentioned in Rom 10:19 and twice in ch 11; as quoted from Deut 32:21 which was the chapter of the last generation of the national covenant.

I believe the 'as it is written' connects the 'manner' in which all Israel of ch 9 was to be delivered and 'saved' from oppression, and persecution.
This deliverence was prophesied back in Deut 32:42, in Dan 7,9 and Is 49 as well as Jesus inferance to Pilate that his kingdom would one day; but not that day, be administered from "Hence"; meaning Pilates seat of authority.

I just “stumbled” across your article on the proverbial “thorn in the flesh” as I was researching “messenger of Satan.” I have tried for years to tell people that the scripture clearly tells us what that elusive thorn is, a messenger of Satan, yet they still teach that it was a physical ailment. I even tried to show it to my Pastor and he said, “I don’t have time right now to work on that one.” Then several months later he was preaching and went to 2 Cor. 12:7. I thought, “Awesome. He searched it out and came to the logical conclusion and is now going to finally explain it. But NOOOO. He went right into the explanation of Epilepsy, eye problems, etc. I was so disappointed. (I have since left that church.) Thank you for the excellent explanation. I had not considered figuratively the thorn relating to people who try to vex us into becoming less affective for the cause of Christ. I appreciate the scriptures you used to explain that THORN was often used to explain the “entanglements of the world for the Lord’s people”. I had not gone that far in my research. I will now begin to use that explanation in addition to the Messenger of Satan. I thought logically that if a messenger from God is an angel then a messenger from Satan would be a fallen angel which would be a demon. I interpreted the Thorn in the Flesh as a Demon that God allowed much has He had allowed Satan to torment Job.

Thank you very much for your clear and concise explanation. Also, thank you for allowing your material to be used free of charge. I have printed it out in it’s entirety and will use it as further explanation.

Star Humbles

I just read your writing from the FAQ section of your website, "Does God Answer Prayer and Does Prayer Change Things?".

http://www.mountainretreatorg.net/faq/does_god_answer_prayers.shtml

This is a concept that I've been struggling with for some time, and your answer was clear, concise, and exceptionally well received.

Thank you for posting this manuscript and making it available for everyone.

In His grip,
Tom
